I got a letter to the editor published on 8/2/2017 in the New York post on the firing of Mooch.
This is what appear in the paper: So the Mooch got the boot.
The White House under Trump is looking more and more like an insane asylum where the loonies are running the show. This show should be canceled.
Now what was edited out was after the Mooch got the boot I wrote and it's like One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

This is what in the paper: Justice may be blind , but in O.J Simpson's case it was dumb. I'm sick of this never-ending saga of a spoiled child of privilege of the athletic class.
Simpson is very like the man living in the White House ; nether believes rules of society apply to them. I wouldn't be surprised if President Trump were to replace Jeff Sessions as attorney general with O.J.

Got a letter to the editor published in the NY Daily News on 7/20/2017 on value of mercy.
This is what appeared in Daily News on 7/20/2017 in voice of people section: "Fort Lee,NJ Enough with Sheldon Silver. Let's remember apt words of Shakespeare: " The quality of mercy is no srain'd. It droppeth like gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath: it is twice blest; It blesseth him that gives and him that takes."
Let's show some mercy to Sheldon Silver. He is 73 years old.
A 12-year sentence is a life senence, and in that there is no justice.

This is what appeared in the New York Post on 7/19/2017 in the section letters@nypost.com
" JP Morgan Chase CEO ( who is no diamond in the rough) has chutzpah complaining about Washington( " Fix the Country," July 15) After all, didn't Washington bail out Dimon and his buddies in the banking industry during the financial crisis ?
Dimon has a point that Washington is stupid. It saved Dimon and his friends from themselves.

Trump down in polls, but base holding steady
Trump down in polls, but base holding steady. His honesty is question, however, good marks on economy. Russia will lead to downfall Trump doesn't understand world politics and has always had soft for Russia , even the Soviet day. I remember back in 1970's Trump wanted to build a hotel in Moscow, but didn't understand there was no such thing as private property in Communism.

The untold story about the British election.
The untold story about the British election, which is how well the Tories did in Scotland. It might bad news for Tories in rest of U.K but Scotland there pick up 12 seats, what's 12 seats from no seats for years. SNP lost about 20 seat,in old parliament 57 of 60 seats win most from Labor which dominated Scotland for years but only about 6 seat, liberal-Dem about 5 seat. So what's happening Scotland.

Got a letter to the editor published in the New York Post on 5/12/2017.
Got letter to the editor published in the New York Post on 5/12/2017 about Joseph Ponte scandal. Joseph Ponte was the correction commissioner for NYC, who used city cars to drive up to Maine( where he had country Home at the taxpayer dime.)
This is what appeared in the paper: Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it. Somebody should have told Ponte that some of the lost souls on Rikers Island are there because of ignorance of the law.
It is curious that de Blasio who see himself as the champion of the underclass does a punt on Ponte's elitist and rulebreaking behavior like that of a spoiled child.
Does the word "integrity" mean anything to the mayor?

Richard Russell an unlikely hero of civil liberties
Richard Russell, for many years he was the U.S Senator from Georgia , very conservative took on Joe McCarthy. Russell made speech in senate called," huckster of hysteria" where he call McCarthy a salesman of infamy. It was in respond to a piece in American Mercury written by J.B Matthews called," Reds in the Church" a Methodist Bishop G.Bromley Oxman was called a communist, Oxman was friend other very conservative southern U.S Senator Harry Byrd.
Republican U.S Senator from Michigan Charles Potter also called out Matthews.
Other Republicans who called out McCarthy were Prescott Bush ( the father and grandfather of Presidents) Kuchel from California and Margaret Chase Smith from Maine ( one first Women who was talk about to be a national ticket- when Smith was ask by a report what would she do if one morning she wore up getting in the White House? Her answer is classic she said," She would apologize to Mrs. Truman and go home."

Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FLSA) was created in 1978. I think as reaction to Church Committee, where CIA Director William Colby would spill his guts, indeed, Nelson Rockefeller call him Alger Hiss.
FLSA created a secret court and surprise, surprise it's author was none other then Ted Kennedy.
In the FLSA court there are no defense lawyers, only Federal Lawyers from F.B.I or Justice Dept appear, the record are sealed, but Chief Justice or Attorney General can unseal them.

Lindsey Graham no graham cracker.
Lindsey Graham no graham cracker. For Lindsey is living up to good Southern Senators tradition, keeping faith American's believe in liberty. When F.D.R try to pack the Supreme Court it was Southern Senators like Walter F. George who stood up to him; when Senator Joseph McCarthy had his rule of terror, it was Southern Senators like Richard Russell who stood up against him, now Lindsey Graham is following in that role standing up against a man(Putin's man in White House) who cares little for liberty.

An interview David Frost give nearly fifty years I remember.
Many years ago, maybe late 1960's or early 70's David Frost (yes the same David Frost, who had interview with Richard Nixon, I think in the late 70's, which bring Nixon back as public figure) had a nightly show and I remember an interview he had with Ben Bradlee, the managing Editor of Washington Post.
Bradlee told an incredible story: Mary Pinchot Meyer was Washington socialite, from famous family, she was ex-wife of Cord Mayer, high official in C.I.A, she had affair with JFK. She was murder in Washington D.C,. Bradlee at time was her brother-in- law.he said he found a diary, more like sketch pad Bradlee said, he give to James Jesus Angleton who burned the diary. Bradlee at the time he didn't know who Angleton was- he had to be lying.
Angleton was legendary figure in the C.I.A,head of counter intelligence also was man who form a close relation with Israel intelligence.

America's first anti-immigation laws the Alien & Sedition acts of 1798.
In John Adams Presidency the U.S had undeclared war with France in the seas. France had gone thought a revolution and divided America: between the Federalist, who wanted a closer relation between the U.S and U.K and Jeffersonian , who were pro-French.
President Adams and Federalist congress voted and made the Alien & Sedition Act. It was four laws:
1) the Naturalization Act- change becoming a citizen from 5 years to 14 years.
2) Alien Act- to deport all that was regarded as dangerous to public peace and safety.
3) Authorized to arrest, imprison, or banish enemy aliens in time of war.
4) Sedition Act- This act provided fines and imprisonment of citzens or aliens who entered into combinations to oppose execution of national laws, formant insurrection, or to write, publish, or utter false or malicious statements about the Chief Executive, the legislature, or the government.
Now there was much outrage about these laws, in part they lead to big Jeffersonian victory in the 1800 election.
When Jefferson come to power alone with his party( the Democratic- Republican Party) three of four laws of Alien & Sedition were repealed, however, the Sedition stay on the books.

Somebody should tell Donald Trump a quote from Richard Nixon
Somebody should tell Donald Trump a quote from Richard Nixon. The quote from Nixon was," Always remember others may hate you but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself."
