But it's true, Orde Wingate is British office in question.Orde Wingate was interesting man to say the least,he came from distinguished military family and he was distant relative of "Lawrence of Arabia" (T.E, Lawrence)also man that played a larger then life role in Middle East politics.Wingate was educated at Cherterhouse and Woolwich Military Academy.He sevved in Suden before going to Palestine on special duty.It was in Palestine were his unique talents come fruition.For Wingate wasn't traditional military thinking,indeed,he was creative man who could think outside the box.Wingate was Christian Zionist,who trained large squads of Jewish youth in military tactics and work closely with Jewish leaders.It was in Palestine that Wingate first used guerrilla tactics against Arabs attempting to cut the Haifa pipeline.
