Is Ted Cruz doing a partial birth abortion on the Republican Party? For G.O.P was gaining ground in the polls before Cruz went on his unholy crusade to nowhere.And public turned against the G.O.P yeah people are scared about Obamacare,but they hated the government shutdown.Cruz keeps saying his with people,oh really lets see the people voted for Obama,they voted for Democratic Senate,and while it's true the House remain in Republican hands,if wasn't for gerrymandered district the Democrats would win House for more people voted Democratic than Republican in the Houses races.
You constantly hear Ted Cruz and Right Wing radio talk show host say the people support them,however,the Right loses election after election.These people suffer from what call the lady Astor effort.Lady Astor was American who marry a British aristocrat William Waldorf Astor.Lady Astor was second women elected to parliament  and first to take seat in House of Commons in 1919.She was known for her interest in social problems especially temperance and women's rights.She was also a leading member of the notorious pro-Appeasement Cliveden Set(Cliveden was home of Lady Astor where people who favored Appeasement would meet,of course,this all abruptly ended when Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia.Members of group were Halifax,foreign secretary,Geoffrey Dawson,Editor of the Times and many MPs).Anyway Lady Astor was Right-winger who visited America in 1936 and she told friends she was sure FDR would lose his re-election bid because spoke to at least 500 people and none would vote for FDR.The trouble is her contracts were those from upper middle class whose taxes went throught the roof.
Now malfeasance on the Left,watch Bloomberg T.V this morning had Nouriel Roubini on and he said something quite true,he said paid attention more to people you disagree with the problem is he follow by Mr.Bowtie(Tom Keene) who will never forget libeled Paul Ryan by saying Ryan was opposed to cutting entitlements,when nothing could farther from truth.I mean Democratic make much sport of Ryan pushing an old lady,in wheelchair down cliff.And a Republican Economist Glenn Hubbard let Keene get away with his lies,indeed,he sat there like dummy.And then Keene add injury to insult by saying Paul Krugman was for cutting entitlements,what nonsense and a lie!
